Far East Developments is a niche, established business with more ambition than you could ever hope to measure. Two days are rarely the same — we manage a diverse range of projects, from architectural, highly-specified builds and renovations through to light commercial work. We are even working on a golf simulator right now!

What's on offer?

• Company vehicle provided.

• Based in sunny Gisborne with stable, full-time hours.

• We trust you to execute your role the best way you see fit.

• Core hours are Mon–Thu (7:30am – 4:30pm). Fridays? We knock off at 3:00pm to catch the waves or hit the golf course. It's practically compulsory.

What we are looking for:​

A qualified carpenter or junior foreman with initiative and a positive attitude. If you don't have foreman experience yet but want to grow into a foreman role, we want to hear from you!

​

• Comfortable organising apprentices, coordinating sub-contractors and chatting with clients.

• A sharp, analytical mind to work through structural puzzles on complex builds.

• A strong understanding of site safety practices to look out for yourself and the boys.

• Equipped with a reliable set of your own standard hand and power tools.

• Clean, full New Zealand driver's license.
